Italian synagogue music from five centuries.

To commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Reichsprogromnacht, the SEB with Cantor Yoed Sorek from Hanover will perform the Memorial Service by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, who fled Italy, at the beginning of the concert.

Synagogue music reflects folk melodies as well as Italian operatic sounds.
